Important Information: The Paris Institute of Advanced Studies is housed in the Hôtel de Lauzun, a 17th century hôtel particulier owned by the City of Paris. Recently refurbished, this historic building is subject to strict rules and regulations designed to ensure its preservation. In particular: - food and beverages are strictly prohibited in the conference rooms, but a designated space will be offered for coffee and lunch breaks and water will be provided for the speakers. - high heels are strctly forbidden, in order to protect the 17th-century wooden floors. The organizing committee for ALP2017 apologizes in advance for any incovenience this might cause and we thank you for your understanding.
We also want to stress the lack of easily accessible and affordable lunch options in the vicinity of IEA and we strongly encourage your to register for lunch if you plan on attending the sessions on 23 March.
How to get to IEA: Public transportation: Sully-Morland or Pont-Marie metro stop on line 7 or Saint-Paul Le Marais metro stop on line 1. There are also several bus stops depending on where you are coming from. The best way to figure out your itinerary (by metro, bus, train, tramway) is with this website: http://www.ratp.fr - you can download the free app here. It is cheaper to purchase a booklet of 10 tickets (14,10€), rather than individual tickets (1,80€), They do not expire, so if you don't use all of them, you'll be able to use them on a future trip.
